Matthew C. Stewart

MANAGING PARTNER

Matt Stewart is a seasoned professional and leader, dedicated to helping individuals and teams reach their full potential. A proud alumnus of UNLV, Matt began his career with New York Life in 2012 at the Las Vegas General Office, quickly establishing himself as a top-performing agent. His achievements include qualifying for three Executive Councils*, earning Centurion status, being named New Org Agent of the Year, and achieving Million Dollar Round Table** membership in 2015.

In 2016, Matt was promoted to Partner, where he built and led a nationally ranked top-10 team, earning Partner of the Year honors three times in Las Vegas. His leadership success led to a promotion in 2020 as Managing Partner of the Utah General Office, where he continues to drive growth, mentor high-performing professionals, and make a lasting impact in the industry.

Beyond his career, Matt is deeply committed to his family and personal development. He and his wife, Deana, share a passion for adventure, travel, and creating meaningful experiences together. A devoted father to six incredible kids, Matt prioritizes being present and engaged in their lives. An endurance sports enthusiast, he has competed in multiple 70.3 Ironman triathlons, embracing the discipline, resilience, and mental toughness that fuel both his professional and personal life.

Parker Smith is a dedicated leader with a passion for training and development. He began his career at New York Life in April 2020 and quickly made an impact. Raised in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, he studied at the University of Utah before settling in Bluffdale with his wife, Ava. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Parker brings a competitive yet supportive approach to mentorship, helping others grow and succeed. His commitment to excellence makes him a valuable partner and leader.

Dallin Fuller joined New York Life in 2021 and quickly established himself as a top performer, achieving Council status for three consecutive years before being promoted to Partner. In 2024, he was recognized as Partner of the Year and is also a proud member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), a global standard of excellence in the financial services industry. With a degree in Entrepreneurship from Brigham Young University, Dallin brings a strong business mindset to his work, specializing in helping business owners and self-employed individuals develop tailored financial strategies. He is passionate about building long-term relationships and providing solutions that support his clients’ financial success.

 

Outside of work, Dallin enjoys spending time with his wife, Abby, and their newborn son, Russell. Family is at the heart of everything he does, and he is committed to helping others create financial security for the people who matter most in their lives.

Mark started his career with New York Life in December of 2024.  He holds an Economics and later a American Studies/History degree from Brigham Young University.  Mark started his career in financial services in 1986 where he was one of the first 20 new hires at Fidelity Investments when they brought their Western call center operations to Salt Lake City.  He left Fidelity after 14 years as the Director of Sales in Retirement Planning to take a similar job with Allstate Financial Services, where he oversaw the sales and compliance divisions of the Intermountain West.  After 21 years at Allstate Financial, he was recruited to Equitable Advisors where he has spent the last three years developing and hiring a team of experienced advisors, and managed a team with over $250 million dollars of AUM.  Mark’s desire at this stage of his career is to create opportunity and mentorship for new advisors entering the industry.  He has been the past president of NAIFA Utah (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors), is currently the local President of NAIFA Central, and holds his FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, 51, 53, 26, 24 and Utah Life and Health licenses.  He has earned multiple national awards for team development/agent retention/sales, and community service involvement.  When not working, Mark, and his wife, Annette, love to travel to foreign locations, fly fish, and hike the beautiful mountains of Utah.  Most of all, he loves to spend time with his five grandkids.

Alex Barrett

SERVICE LEADER, CVP

Alex began his career with New York Life in the Mississippi General Office after graduating from Mississippi State University. During his tenure with New York Life he has spent time in the Huntsville, Wichita, Covina Valley General Offices, and Arkansas General Office before beginning as Service Leader CVP for the Utah General office. He has completed his MBA at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Alex and his wife Rachel have enjoyed setting in Salt Lake City and enjoy skiing, hiking, and taking care of their dogs Indy and Gus. He enjoys being of service for Utah General Office advisors and getting to know them in order to help their practices grow.


Kiri D. Pullan

DIRECTOR OF AGENCY STANDARDS

Kiri Pullan began her career at New York Life in March 2009, joining the Customer Service Staff at the Utah General Office. Embracing her family's legacy, she worked alongside her aunt and cousin, which fueled her commitment to the organization. Kiri actively sought opportunities to enhance her skills in New Business processes and Contracting and Licensing functions. Her dedication and creative problem-solving were recognized when she was named a 2018 Service Superstar.

 

In June 2019, Kiri transitioned into the role of Agency Standards Manager, where she took on the responsibility of overseeing the Utah and Las Vegas General Offices. Her dedication and exceptional work ethic earned her the distinguished title of 2021 New ASM of the Year. Kiri’s ability to lead and drive results quickly led to her promotion to Director of Agency Standards.

 

In 2022, she was elected to serve on the Agency Standards Advisory Committee for the 2023-2024 term, a testament to her expertise and influence in the field. Today, Kiri manages the supervision of the Utah, Reno, and Wyoming General Offices. She attributes her success to the steadfast support of her family, friends, and mentors, which continues to inspire her professional journey.

 

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Kiri studied photography at Utah State University. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her husband, Tyler, and their baby, Emma. Kiri also indulges her creative side through photography, refinishing furniture, and traveling with family and friends.

With a strong foundation in financial services, she brings firsthand experience to her role, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure agents succeed.

 

Before stepping into her current position, Jessica made a significant mark as a financial services professional with New York Life, earning Rookie of the Year honors and achieving Council Agent status. These accomplishments reflect her dedication to excellence, her knowledge of the industry, and her commitment to helping clients meet their financial goals.

 

A Michigan native and proud graduate of Michigan State University, Jessica is excited to share her expertise and foster a culture of success, support, and growth for new agents at New York Life.
